Kids Shine Their Light on Pediatric Cancer
Recently, two boys from our community learned about the need for funding to find a cure for pediatric brain cancer. In researching nonprofit organizations for a National Junior Honor Society project, they found Noah’s Light Foundation and decided to act. Pierce and Gavin chose to hold a lemonade stand and bake sale in their neighborhood, each took on different responsibilities to organize the sale.
In the process of working on their project, they learned a lot about pediatric brain cancer, the struggles of pediatric cancer patients and the ways Noah’s Light Foundation is working to fund a cure. Their enthusiasm for this project led to a successfully run bake sale and lemonade stand, which yielded $300 in donations.
Thank you, Pierce and Gavin, for working so hard for a cure. With your help, we NOAH cure is possible®!
