Royal Runners Deserve Gratitude

Our Team Noah runners never cease to amaze us! Their enthusiasm and zest for running to help us find a cure inspires us to make Princess Half Marathon Weekend more special every year for each and every runner. After training for months to run a 10K, a half marathon or (wow!) both races, we could finally meet the runners who prepared to make it from start to finish for this worthy cause.

The team’s finish line tent is the hub of activity for race weekend. Every morning, before the runners gathered in their corrals and began to run, we met at our finish line tent for a group photo and to wish them luck. Despite the 4:30AM meeting time, this gathering was full of excitement! After all, the coming races were what they had been training for. Then after the race, runners return for congratulatory hugs and to receive their Team Noah medals.

For every race weekend, we have a get-together to thank our runners and to give them time to get to know each other. This year, for Princess Half Marathon Weekend runners, a brunch was held and they were presented with their own “footprints” to symbolize their journey on the Noah’s Light Foundation path to a cure. Without the participation of runners, we certainly would not have journeyed as far on the path to the Phase I clinical trial of The NOAH Protocol, so to all our Team Noah runners, THANK YOU!
